Campstar's Commitment to Our Customers

Here at campstar, we know how unsettling the COVID-19 crisis has been. The global crisis has led to uncertainty about whether or not to make travel plans. Our team at campstar understands this concern and is committed to providing you with as much information as possible.  Therefore, we have compiled cancellation information and links to the Local country COVID-19 information pages to ensure you can book with confidence.

Information Regarding COVID-19 Cancellation Policies:


*Due to the covid-19 crisis, we have put in place a flexible option that allows you to cancel your booking or postpone your dates up to 48 hours before pick-up. We keep your payment as credit for 1 year to provide you with maximum flexibility regarding your travel dates!


*Because health is a priority, preventive measures regularly evolve to ensure everyone´s safety. So that you can continue to make travel plans, we provide you with the support you need to book carefree.
In case of cancellations up to 1 week before pick-up day, the amount paid will be refunded in full by bank transfer.
Cancellations less than 1 week before the start of the rental period, the amount paid will be returned in full, but always in the form of a voucher valid for 12 months.
Changes to the reservation will be possible up to 3 days before the pick-up day date.

DRM: BOOKING - AIRBAG - Book safe, travel safe*:

*For bookings made by 15 September 2021, you have the option to rebook free of charge up to 30 days before the start of the rental due to the Covid-19 situation. If you cannot find a concrete new date, we will convert your already paid amount into a value voucher. This is redeemable until December 2022.

El Monte RV:

*For all bookings made prior to 31 January 2021, we will continue to offer free cancellations up to 30 days before travel.  If any bookings cancel within 30 days, standard cancellation terms will apply.

· For any new bookings received after 1 February 2021; our standard cancellation terms will apply.   This includes any re-bookings.

· For new bookings, In the event there are COVID-19 related government travel restrictions can be cancelled free of charge 60 days prior to departure.


If you cancel your reservation 15 or more days prior to the scheduled pick-up date, you will be reimbursed the whole amount you paid until that date. If you cancel your reservation less than 15 days and more than 48 hours prior to the scheduled check-in date, you can choose between a 50% refund of the amount you already paid until that date or receive a flexible travel voucher corresponding to 100% of the total amount already paid.

The travel voucher can be used for a trip in any location, any Indie Campers vehicle and any available date for pick-up until December 31, 2021. The voucher can be used more than one time up to that date until its amount has been fully used. If you book a trip of a higher price than the amount remaining in your travel voucher, you will simply need to pay the outstanding amount in order to confirm your reservation.

Just go UK

Valid for all Bookings made from the 18th May 2020. A no quibble refund on your Booking or postponement less a £25.00 admin fee. Covid policy applies if the UK government imposes restrictions that cause the following:

• UK government guidance causes closure of the Just go depot on the date when your collection is due to take place (Toddington or Edinburgh depot)

• UK government guidance advises a full UK-wide lockdown resulting in a full ban on all non-essential travel over the dates you are due to hire


*Booking confirmed between 15th January 2021 – 17th May 2021:

  • Until 30 days before Pick-Up: Cancellation free of charge
  • 29 days – 14 days before Pick-Up: Cancellation + voucher for new booking. The cancellation fee is credited towards a future booking in 2021/ 2022 at the same rental location.
  • Less than 14 days before Pick-Up: Cancellation with normal cancellation fees.

*All other bookings:

  • Until 14 days before Pick-Up: Cancellation + voucher for new booking. The cancellation fee is credited towards a future booking in 2021/ 2022 at the same rental location.
  • Less than 14 days before Pick-Up: Cancellation with normal cancellation fees.


*For cancellations 59-15 days before the start of the rental period, 50% of the total rental price will be refunded and the remaining 50% of the total rental price will be issued in the form of a voucher. For cancellations 14-3 days before the 1st rental day, the total rental price according to the booking confirmation will be issued as a voucher. The voucher will be valid for 3 years from the date of issue. The voucher is not transferable.


*In the event of a Corona lockdown at the tenant's place of residence or the transfer station, the tenant receives a voucher for the payment made and has 2 years to redeem it.


*If your travel is affected by the pandemic, you can postpone your booking for any travel period until December 31st, 2022 for the same travel location, without any additional fees. For postponed bookings, we issue vouchers for the full paid value of the booking.

When postponing has been requested less than 30 days prior to departure, we issue vouchers for the paid amount of the booking, excluding a nonrefundable cancellation fee of 200 EUR / 2000 NOK / 2000 SEK / 170 GBP.

NOTE: an official document confirming the inability to travel due to COVID is required.

In case of a no-show, the booking will be subject to 100% cancellation fee and cannot be postponed.

Vouchers cannot be sold, exchanged for cash, or combined with discounts or campaigns. Vouchers are not valid after the indicated expiry date.
