Gadgets for campervans #tech

Gadgets are important for every holiday, because you want to know what’s going on at home, what’s going on in the rest of the world or maybe play a video game when the rain is splashing against the windows from outside? That’s exactly why it’s important to think ahead about what campervan gadgets you need to get and take with you. Whether a campervan TV, mini-projector or perhaps the Kindle reader? When travelling, there is not only a lot to discover outside the campervan, but also in the world of gadgets for campervans.

Which gadgets for campervans should you take with you?

Mini projector as a gadget for campervans

Maybe you want to have a photo evening for the whole family and the laptop or TV is too small? Then the mini-projector is much more fun. Because the pictures look even bigger on the wall and you can even use it to watch movies with an authentic cinema feel. This should definitely go along on the big tour as a motorhome accessory.

Computer/laptop as the best campervan gadgets

No matter what you use your laptop for, it can be really wonderful on a camping holiday. If there’s nothing good on TV in the evening, you can pop in a DVD or watch Netflix. Many modern campsites now have wi-fi and with an internet connection you can also plan the next day’s excursions quite comfortably in the evening.

Campervan TV + satellite if necessary

Of course, a campervan TV should be available, otherwise the evenings can get quite long. A satellite dish is usually mounted on the roof outside the campervan. On the TV there are usually the programmes that are relevant locally, but also some German channels and especially if you are travelling with your children in the campervan and it is a rainy day during the trip, you can keep them occupied in front of the TV. Great films and series are of course not only on YouTube, but also on Netflix and the like. Just see what the kids are in the mood for. Campervan TVs are usually compact, but they can turn boring days into adventures.

Kindle, for reading

E-readers have become increasingly important in recent years. Many people no longer buy books, but download e-books from the internet. The Kindle is illuminated, so you can read even when your partner is already asleep without disturbing them with a glaring bedside lamp. The light of the e-readers is usually not too bright so that it does not disturb other people in the immediate vicinity.

Smartphones

The smartphone is always important on a holiday. Mobility is not the only focus today. The smartphone is a prodigy of its kind. It shows how warm it will be the next week, you can surf the internet, choose excursions and of course it has a camera. In most cases, mobile phone cameras today are even better than some digital cameras. That’s why it’s important to always have your smartphone with you. Even if you want to order a pizza at the campsite in the evening because it’s so cosy in the armchair and you just want to relax.

Bluetooth speaker

Fancy a disco in the evening? Maybe with other campsite residents? That doesn’t have to take place in the campervan. The space here is far too small for that. But you can organise a small private party on the plot. But be careful, the Bluetooth speakers should not be too loud, because other people might feel disturbed. However, this should definitely be one of your gadgets for campervans.

USB charger with several connections (multi-port)

Anyone who goes camping will know how important it is to have a power connection in the campervan. If only to charge the camera, watch a film in the evening or use the laptop. Those who carry several small devices such as tablets or smartphones as campervan gadgets will also want to charge them regularly. Since there are few sockets available in the campervan and they may not be near the bed, it is important to buy a USB charger with several ports so you can charge your devices regularly without having to have many sockets available.

Portable solar module as a gadget for campervans

Most campervans are heated with gas, but this is no longer necessary because gas can quickly become dangerous, and you always have to buy and connect the heavy bottles. A portable solar module has been available for a few years now. This can be attached anywhere near the campervan to generate a high yield of electricity. You can fold it and store it in one of the pockets in the caravan. Maybe even under the bench seat, which has enough storage space. Now all you have to do is let the sunshine and electricity, as well as night-time heating, are no longer a problem. The campervan can also be heated without gas. Hot water in the bathroom and shower are a must on a motorhome holiday.

Portable Wifi Box for Internet

Many campsites do not have Wifi. However, since you still want to know what’s going on in the world and stay in touch with your friends, there is the portable box for mobile internet. This can be installed in any campervan as one of the best campervan gadgets ever. Not only with the smartphone, but also with the PC and internet TV, a new age has dawned even in camping.

Conclusion

Gadgets for campervans are very much on trend these days. Whether we’re talking about the mini-projector, portable routers for wi-fi or the solar module. These things play a very important role in modern camping holidays. Other motorhome accessories are smartphones for photos of the holiday, a tablet or the Kindle e-reader. These count as the best campervan gadgets in a camper’s household.
