Every autumn, the town is celebrates the Civic Festival, and has been since 1958, when the first Civic Festival was first celebrated. For three days at the beginning of September, the beautiful, well-kept castle park directly on the Main behind Philippsruhe Castle opens its doors to art, culture, cheerfulness and Oktoberfest atmosphere.
