Opposite Polvese Island, the largest of the three islands on Lake Trasimeno, on the border between Umbria and Tuscany and in the Trasimeno Nature Park, lies the village of Italgest. It is an excellent starting point for excursions to art cities such as Rome, Florence, Siena, Perugia, Assisi, Orvieto and the natural and gastronomic destinations near Umbria and Tuscany. For groups we offer day trips (also free of charge) on foot, by bike, car or coach. The paved interior streets, modern sanitary facilities, the swimming pool area with water slides and whirlpool, the bar, the restaurant, the pizzeria and the mini-market are just some of the amenities we offer our guests.
